We handle all drywall repairs as part of our standard process, and also offer drywall repair as a standalone service for homeowners who just need walls prepped before they tackle painting themselves.
We repair everything from small nail holes and picture-hanging damage to large holes from plumbing or electrical work, water-damaged sections, cracked drywall tape, and failing texture. A clean hole that sits between studs can often be patched with a scrap piece of drywall and mesh tape. Damage that runs across a stud, spans a wider area, or sits on drywall that's sagging or delaminated from moisture needs cutting back to solid material, or the patch shows once paint goes on and the surface catches the light.
We inspect the walls to identify all areas that need repair, including hidden damage you might have missed, and give you a clear scope and cost.
Floors and furnishings are protected. We score damaged areas cleanly before any repair material goes on.
Appropriate backing, mesh, or setting compound is applied as the first coat depending on damage type and size.
We apply 2–3 thin coats of compound, feathering each coat progressively wider to blend with surrounding drywall.
Between every coat and after the final coat, surfaces are sanded to achieve a smooth, invisible transition.
Where walls have a knockdown, orange peel, or stipple texture, we re-apply matching texture using the same technique as the original.
All repaired areas are primed and ready for paint. If painting is part of the scope, we proceed directly into paint application.

Drywall ceiling repair before and after
Nail holes, screw pops, anchor damage, and small punctures are filled with setting compound, sanded smooth, and spot-primed. On textured walls, we re-apply matching texture before the area is indistinguishable from the surrounding wall.
Holes from plumbing, electrical, or accidental damage require backing, a drywall patch, mesh tape, and multiple coats of compound feathered well beyond the repair area.
Water-damaged drywall often needs partial or full replacement before mud and paint. We assess whether the section needs to be cut out and re-sheeted, or if it can be treated, sealed with stain-blocking primer, and re-mudded in place.
Stress cracks along corners, tape joints, and ceiling-wall junctions are common in older homes and those that have settled. We cut out failing tape, apply new tape and compound, feather and sand, and prime, which eliminates the crack.

Outside corners are usually reinforced with a metal or plastic corner bead under the mud, and that bead is what keeps the corner straight. A dent or impact at a corner often goes past the surface compound and bends or loosens the bead itself, and filling over a damaged bead without addressing it tends to leave the corner slightly crooked or prone to cracking again.
Joint compound needs to dry all the way through, typically 24 hours per coat, before the next coat, sanding, or primer goes on. A patch that looks dry on top can still be damp underneath, and sanding or priming too early is a common reason shrinkage and hairline cracking show up weeks later, after the paint is already on.

Yes, but the source of the moisture must be fixed first. We can replace damaged sections, treat for mould if present (in minor cases), apply stain-blocking primer, and skim coat back to a finish with no visible seam.
Not with our process. We feather the edges well beyond the repair, apply multiple coats and always prime, so the patch doesn't show even in raking light.
