Texora Painting Workmanship Warranty
Call (604) 417-6483Backed by our 1, 2 & 3-Year Workmanship Warranty & 100% Satisfaction Guarantee
The Texora workmanship warranty
At Texora Painting, we stand behind the quality of our work. Depending on the service and project scope, qualifying projects are backed by a 1, 2, or 3-Year Workmanship Warranty, with the specific warranty period and coverage clearly outlined in your estimate before work begins.
Every project is different, but our warranty is built around one simple principle: if something fails because of our workmanship, we take responsibility for it.
100% satisfaction guarantee
Every project begins with our 100% Satisfaction Guarantee. Before we consider a project complete, we perform a final inspection or walkthrough with the customer. If there are reasonable workmanship-related deficiencies within the approved scope, such as missed areas, inadequate coverage, visible application defects, or required touch-ups, we correct them before the project is considered complete.
What our workmanship warranty covers
Our warranty is designed to protect against premature failure directly caused by the work performed by Texora Painting. Depending on the service, coverage may include:
- Peeling, blistering, flaking, or loss of coating adhesion caused by improper preparation or application
- Premature coating failure attributable to our workmanship
- Drywall tape, compound, patches, or repairs failing because of improper installation or finishing
- Caulking failure resulting from improper application
- Carpentry components installed by Texora becoming loose or failing because of improper installation
- Workmanship-related failure of approved repairs
- Application or finishing deficiencies within the original contracted scope
When a valid workmanship issue is confirmed, Texora Painting will provide the standard labour and materials necessary to correct the affected warrantable area at no additional charge.
What the warranty does not cover
Our workmanship warranty covers our work. It is not a warranty against every condition that may affect a home or building after the project is completed. Typical exclusions include:
- Normal wear and tear
- Normal fading, weathering, or aging
- Water or moisture intrusion
- Roof, gutter, flashing, drainage, plumbing, or building-envelope problems
- Structural movement, settlement, expansion, or contraction
- Existing or concealed substrate failure
- Pre-existing coatings or materials not installed by Texora Painting
- Future wood rot or natural wood movement
- Mold, mildew, insects, or biological deterioration
- Impact, scratches, abuse, pressure washing, harsh chemicals, or improper maintenance
- Severe weather and other external causes
- Damage or alterations caused by homeowners, occupants, or other contractors
- Manufacturer or product defects
- Areas or services outside the original approved scope
In simple terms: we warranty the quality of our workmanship, but we cannot warranty the underlying building, existing materials, environmental conditions, or damage caused by factors outside our control.
How a warranty claim works
If you believe there may be a workmanship-related issue during your warranty period, contact Texora Painting before having another contractor repair or alter the affected area. We will arrange an inspection and determine the cause of the issue.
If the problem is confirmed to be the result of Texora Painting's workmanship, we will correct the affected warrantable area using the necessary standard labour and materials at no additional charge. Warranty repairs apply to the affected area and do not automatically require repainting, replacing, or refinishing otherwise unaffected surfaces.

Project-specific coverage
Painting, drywall, wood restoration, staining, cabinet refinishing, carpentry, and other services are exposed to different conditions. For that reason, warranty periods and specific coverage may vary by project.
Your Texora Painting estimate will identify the applicable warranty period and any project-specific conditions or exclusions. The warranty terms contained in your approved estimate are the terms that apply to your individual project.
Getting your warranty term in writing
One of the two partners walks the job with you, and the written estimate names the scope and your 1, 2 or 3-year warranty term. Call (604) 417-6483 to book the walkthrough.
